Terrific marinade!! Used it on our steaks tonight, marinated them in fridge for about 4 hours, these same type steaks were horribly tuff last time I cooked them, this time we could cut them with a fork they were so tender. Thanks Mirj for a great marinade I will be using over and over again!! We loved the taste too and the wonderfull aroma while cooking!! I made it exactly as written and will be using it on all kinds of things all summer, especially the BBQ. Thanks for sharing a great one!!!

This is a very good marinade, I used it on fish and large prawns, all the flavors came through but were not overpowering. Will definately also try it with chicken and meat. Thank you for posting this, it transferred us to a taverna somewhere in Greece for the evening!

Great recipe! I used it on a steak that I marinated for 3 hours and then grilled. It filled the house with a wonderful aroma, and it turned out perfect! "Greek Night" will definetely be happening again!

This is great. I used fresh rosemary, and dried thyme. 2 tablespoons of oregano!!…it was hard to put that much oregano in anything, but well worth it. I grilled a cut up chicken after a two hr marinade. My wife recognized it as Greek. Potatoes provincial, and a little cucumber raita, and you have a fine meal. The thing is, we sliced up a cold left over today, and it is ever so good cold, also.

Excellent marinade! I used it for a whole 6 lb chicken. Marinated about 8 hours in the fridge before cooking in my Showtime rotisserie. Only 2 changes- used half the amt of oregano, though will probably use the full amount next time, and used 2 tsp dried parsley since I didn't have any fresh. It smelled wonderful while cooking and turned out so very tender and moist, with a wonderful light lemon taste to the chicken.

Delicious!! I used it as marinade for chicken breasts I cooked on the grill. I did add more garlic, but it would have been quite flavorful without it. I just love garlic. BTW, I served your Impossible Greek Spinach Pie during the same meal & am reviewing that great dish as well. Thanks so much!

Another great recipe Mirj. Had this on bbqed chicken the other night and was fantastic. I was a bit worried at first about the amount of oregano, but made the recipe as written and flavours were superb.

This is an outstanding marinade. I ultimately ruined it by dicing the chicken and putting it in a sauce - it lost the flavor of the marinade. However, I sampled a bite of chicken before dicing and can attest to the wonderful flavors. I will definitely be making this again!
