Wow, fantastic flavour. Such an easy recipe and the balsamic just adds the right flavour. I followed the recipe exactly and used roma tomatoes, and the flavour of the tomato was just so intense. The tomatoes are wonderful baked this way, and even just served on thick crusty bread is just divine !!!!! Thanks Chef floWer another fantastic recipe, a quick and easy that I will making again.

These tomatoes are awesome. I used a new sweet variety, (Chocolate tomatoe) that is deep and robust in flavor. Prepared this way they almost tasted like sun dried tomatoes. They were wonderful. I used white balsamic vinegar and fresh basil from the garden. A small leaf variety, so no slicing was necessary. I will be making these again. Thanks for posting.

Mmmmm! My whole family loved this side dish. It was fast & easy to put together. We ate it w/a tuna noodle casserole. I can't stop thinking about the flavor, it was REALLY good.

Easy and delicious side dish. Hey I love fresh basil and balsamic vinegar on anything, but particularly tomatoes. The vinegar taste was evident but not overpowering. I cooked this for 30 minutes, which seemed perfect to me, but I could see some people wanting to give it a little extra time. Made for ZWT 2008, the Italian basil challenge. Thanks!

I used cherry tomatoes and added a little but of mozzarella to it and made it to put on crackers. It was great, thanks.

I love fresh tomatoes with basil not to mention balsamic vinegar. The flavors are simple just like the ingredients but there is allot of flavor! So refreshing. I did add some fresh oregano and some mini boccocini cheese (fresh soft mozzarella) balls before serving. This looked so pretty and colorful. Made and reviewed for NZ/AUS recipe swap #26, March '09.

The combination of Campari tomatoes with the fresh basil, balsamic, fresh cracked pepper and kosher salt was a burst of summer goodness in every bite! It really couldn't have been easier and along with a bit of bread- it is all you need for a lite lunch that will truly satisfy. I can't wait to share this one with my family! Made for ZWT 4!
