I could hardly wait for these to come out of the oven. What an incredible smell, and the taste was even better. Soft, tender, spiced just right and umm, umm good. My husband and I agree that these are some of the best pumpkin muffins we have ever had. Thanks Nurse Di.

Delicious, moist, and really smooth flavor. Only made one small addition... pecans. I took them to work and they were a hit! This was a great way to use the fresh pumpkin left over from Halloween.

These are absolutely amazing! I made them to take with us skiing tomorrow, and I will now have to make batch #2 cause 6 are already gone and one more has disappeared every time I enter the kitchen. I didn't have any shortening and only had less than a 1/4 cup of oil in the house so I made up the rest with applesauce and they were still incredibly moist. The only other thing I had to change was that I didn't have any nutmeg or cloves so I used pumpkin pie spice (along with the requested amounts of cinnamon and ginger) and it worked perfect. Moist, light (so little fat!!) and perfectly spiced. This one goes to the top of my muffin recipes. Thanks for a DELICIOUS recipe!

Wonderful! These went over well. I've made them twice and I only did one thing differently. I used 1 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice instead of the seperate spices. I also frosted half of one batch with cream cheese frosting. Great, anyway you eat them.

I'm not a pumpkin person myself, but hubby flipped for these. I've had to make him a 2nd batch already (luckily they're very easy to make). I used 1/4C applesauce and 1/4C canola oil instead of the shortening, and added golden raisins. Also I doubled the cinnamon. I made 6 very large muffins-took about 38 minutes.

We thought these muffins were excellent. A wonderful spiced flavor that smelled so good when baking. Very soft and tender. We ate these while they were still warm with a litte butter. A great way to start a cool, crisp fall day.

Excellent muffins. Great soft, moist texture. The smell coming off the kitchen had everybody running in to see what was baking. Great spiced flavor. I added a few chopped walnuts. Umm, Umm good. Thanks Nurse Di.

A great pumpkin muffin recipe. I got 1 1/2 dozen great tasting muffins. I used oil instead of melted shortening.

I wanted to use my entire can of pumpkin, so I omited the water and added 1/4 cup of applesauce. These are soooo good!
