I used the cream of mushroom version in a broccoli casserole and it worked out great. I used double the mushrooms ( since we love 'shrooms) and organic 2% milk. It was thick, creamy and delicious... they only thing it needed was a touch more salt... I hate buying/using canned cream soups, so this was just perfect!!! I can't wait to try all the other "varieties"! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

This was really great! I made the cheese version for use in Whole Wheat Macaroni and Cheese With Ham, and I will definitely try the others. I used skim milk and Smart Balance and it still worked like a charm, Thanks for posting!

I've tried all the variations of this recipe, and they're all delicious. The tomato and the cheese are particularly thick and creamy.

Update: I made the cheddar cheese soup option and it is great too! Jul 28/09 - Excellent substitute for canned soup. I made the Cream of Chicken option and it was great. I have made other soup substitutes in the past that contain powdered milk, and while they are also good, your recipe is more economical. (Powdered milk is very costly here.) Thanks for sharing this. I can't wait to try some of the other flavours!

Thank you thank you thank you for posting this!!! Now we don't have to use a can of chemicals to make casseroles. You can even contril that fat by using 1% or skim milk. Such an easy, inexpensive and healthy alternative to the canned stuff!!! I'm printing this and sticking it inside my pantry door!

I use these all the time when it calls for "Cream Of" soups, and I am so glad I ran across this!

The "nutrition facts" are useless for this recipe, because they include ALL the ingredients for ALL the variations!

Loved this! I just started making my own mixes and saw this recipe and figured I can make my own soups as I use a lot of canned soup. I made the cheese soup and it was wonderful. I loved knowing what was in my soup. It was so easy and quick to make. I will be making the other variations. The soup was nice and thick.

I tried the mushroom version tonight. I put in more mushrooms because I always thought Campbells didn't put enough in. The sauce was good. However, it didn't seem as thick as what comes out of a can. But that was OK with me. I used it in another recipe and it came out great. I do wonder about the nutrion facts though.
