10 Reviews of Chicken With Orange-Chipotle Glaze

This dish includes one of my favorite combinations of flavors orange and chili peppers so it was no surprise just how much I enjoyed it. The balance is perfect with the balsamic providing just the right amount of acidity. I adapted this recipe to suit my urban kitchen by cooking the chicken on my indoor grill for 4 minutes. In the meantime I mixed the sauce in a nonstick skillet adding a few tablespoons of water and began heating. Added the cooked chicken and let the sauce simmer down into a luscious syrupy glaze. Thanks for a delightful dinner loof. Made for *123 Hit Wonders*.

Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders Tag Game. We really enjoyed the flavor of this glaze. I think that next time I made this I will double the sauce and marinate the chicken in it before grilling so the flavor imparts into the chicken. Thanks for posting this, loof!

This was so good! It came out nice and moist. I do have to admit that with the listed ingredients I thought that my mouth would be hopping with joy. The dominate flavor was orange. I had hoped to have tasted some of the other ingredients. So with that said, I will make this again and keep only the chicken and orange the same but double the rest of the ingredients. I think that will make my mouth have a happy dance. Thanks for posting a very interesting recipe.

This is very yummy. It's just a bit sweet, perfect and not too hot for DS. Thanks Loof. Made for Zaar Star Game.

This recipe was included in Taste Tester's FAVORITE REVIEWED RECIPES OF 2008. July 1, 2008 — We grilled this tonight and it was delicious! I doubled the amount of sauce; I used half for glazing the chicken while it grilled and saved the other half for a "dipping sauce." Yum — double the taste of the delicious combination of the sweet ingredients with the smoky and fiery taste of the chipotles. I can't wait to make this again; it was great!

This was very good, we really enjoyed this combination of flavors, I used a whole chicken cut in half so I doubled the amount of glaze and wished I had more to dip into. I used 1 large chipotle and found the spiciness just right, though the left overs were even spicier. Most of the flavor was just on the surface so I will try marinating the chicken in the glaze next time as someone else mentioned. I roasted the chicken in the oven at 375 degrees, which worked really well, but I could tell grilling would be great too. Thank you loof for sharing your wonderful recipe and for your patience in waiting for this review for PRMR Tag.

I'm becoming quite the chipotle pepper lover. It's hard to believe I hadn't even heard of chipotles until I moved to New Mexico! This is one of the better uses! I used bone-in breasts and made them in the oven. This is an awesome preparation and I will fix this often. Thnx for posting your recipe, loof. Made for Comfort Cafe Summer 2009.

Loved this simple yet flavorful recipe!! I used bone-in chicken thighs and drumsticks, so I grilled mine between 30-45 minutes. I started brushing on the marinade with about 15 minutes to go. GREAT flavor in the marinade. I couldn't get over that such an easy recipe could impress me so much! Delicious!!

Another fantastic recipe Loof! I have to admit that I did sub some fresh squeezed tangerine juice (I boiled it down so it would be more concentrated). I have a pile of these amazing tangerines from a friend's tree that are making all these orange related dishes sing! I doubled the sauce and reserved half for dipping. This flavor combination is great. I didn't even have a chance to get a picture as we were so excited to eat and now it is all gone. My hubby has requested it as a repeat really soon. Thanks Loof!! Made for PRMR.
