Really good cookies! Just the right combination of ingredients. I dropped them instead of rolling into balls. Worked out fine. Will surely make again. Thanks!

These are sooo scrumptious that I will consider doubling the recipe next time I make them. Yummy!

Updated: Forgot to add that I didn't use the dried cranberries as it was late last night when I was baking and going to the grocery store was not an option. I used to have a very good recipe, but couldn't find it last night so I turned to zaar. I don't eat cookies, but DH just loves Oatmeal cookies and this recipe sounded great! Let me tell you the ingredients held up their end of the bargain and merged together to make an absolutely wonderful Oatmeal cookie! Thanks for posting and now this is the new staple for my household.

Excellent, crispy cookies. I used more walnuts just because I like them a lot. I also used old fashioned oats (toasted briefly in the oven), not quick cooking, with great results. Thanks for an awesome recipe!

Outstanding oatmeal cookie recipe. I only made one change-used raisins in place of cranberries. I ate one cookie when it was right out of the oven and had another one a few hours later. They seem to have a better texture and taste when you let them sit for awhile. I was out of cranberries, and plan to make them again soon and use cranberries. I lined my old aluminum cookie sheets with reusable teflon coated oven liners(alway use) and had no problem with sticking.

These are very good! I used margarine and pecans in place of butter and walnuts. Try nonstick foil on your cookie sheets. The cookies are easy to remove — plus no cookie sheets to wash.

I love oatmeal cookies. I have been looking for a good recipe. I finally found it! I made them with pecans. Also I had no problem with them sticking to the pans. A definite keeper.

They are the worlds best. Thanks heaps. Everybody loves them. I have made it quite a few times but the last I used choc chip instead of craisins. They were just as delicious!!!

The taste is absolutely wonderful...the only problem I had is they stuck pretty bad to my pan(I did spray with cooking spray but it did not help). Needless to say they are not very pretty but that is ok because the taste makes up for it. YUMMY!!!
