Very easy and tasty alfredo sauce. I have used this recipe off and on for several years. It really works great when you are short on time or energy. I usually add some steamed veggies and/or shrimp when I toss with pasta. I always top the serving with a fresh grind of black pepper.

Creamy, buttery and thick! Just the way I like my alfredo
I halved it for 2 servings and I think I added too much cream cheese but that is my fault. Added a bunch more parmesan cheese and my 2 yr old and I enjoyed it for lunch. Thanks!

I thought this was a good basic recipe. I added minced garlic and white pepper to mine.

Very, very good and quick to fix! Highly recommend. After reading other comments, I did adjust cream cheese and only added 6 oz.- it was perfect! Instead of fettucine noodles I used medium egg noodles (about 12 oz). I didn't mix broccoli or chicken to the recipe but had it available on the side if some wanted to add it. Yummy! I can't wait to make it again!

This turned out creamy and thick. We thought that the cream cheese was a bit over powering. I think we will try 6 ounces of cr. cheese next time we make this. We also added some red peppers and garlic and served it over pasta. Thank you for sharing.

People give me such a hard time about how much cream cheese I eat on my bagels - well this is the recipe for me! The taste is delicious and the preparation is simple. I ate mine just as suggested, but I really like that chicken & veggies could be added for DH2b without making the dish seem "under-sauced."

One night my wife got a bad craving for fettucine alfredo from a resturaunt. After trying a few local places that were closed or closing I decided to look for a quick recipe on-line, we found this recipe and it seemed everyone had good things to say about it, and after about 45 min. of going to buy the ingredients and preparing it so did my wife. It was a delicious dish that saved the day.

My family loves Fettucine Alfredo, and they loved this. It was quick and easy to make, very tasty and filling. Since there are 5 of us, I'd made chicken to go on the side, but we didn't need it. Great with a bit of fresh pepper, and tomatoes and broccoli on the side.
