I made this for dinner, and boy was it ever good. I halved the recipe, and still have enough leftover for another meal for hubby and myself. I used medium sized shells, which worked well in the recipe, plus the frozen corn, and I used cheddar flavored French fried onions. I baked the casserole (covered) in a 375 degree oven for 25 minutes, and then baked it (uncovered) for 4 minutes, after I topped the casserole w/the French fried onions. Afterwards, I let the casserole sit for 5 minutes, (uncovered) ontop the stove before serving, as the casserole was quite hot. I look forward to making this casserole often, as it's quite delish!! Thank you Karen for sharing this recipe. It's a keeper!!

This was a great easy casserole to make and to boot it was mighty tasty too. I used campanelle pasta in place of the large shell pasta since this was what I had on hand. Thanks for sharing a wonderful easy and tasty casserole recipe.

As a previous poster said, this is a very versatile casserole. I halved the recipe (there's just the two of us) and it made plenty. We'll have it for leftovers one night, and my husband packed up two more servings for his work meals. It was very mild, though, and I will probably add a few more spices next time to liven it up a little. But overall, very good!

This is a fantastic, versatile casserole.( I halved the recipe)DH was burned out on pasta, so I used 3 lbs of sliced potatoes instead of the pasta, added mushrooms and broccoli. The result was a mounding, manly casserole (DH's words!) Loved the crunch the fried onions added, and the cheesy flavor. Will be making this often. Thanks for sharing!

Very good one dish meal! Very easy to make and it makes a lot! I will halve the the recipe next time. The only change I made was to use fresh minced garlic in place of the garlic powder, because we love garlic and we always have it on hand. Other than that, I did not change a thing and this was very very pleasing and filling! Next time I will double the broccoli or add a cup of green peas as well! Thanks!

This was a very nice meal. I used 1 box of shell pasta instead of 2 and it made a 9 x 13 casserole. The french fried onions were a great crunch on top.
