13 Reviews of Knorr Spinach Dip

From: Kitty Kat Cook

On Jan 1, 2008

My friend made this and it was really good, she told me she left out the water chestnuts. Update I too made it, and I noticed the directions both on the back of the Knorr soup mix and here fail to mention that you should blanch the baby spinach if it's fresh. Just place in boiling water for no more than 1 min (or less) just until it starts to wilt. Then squeeze as much water as possible and the spinach will break apart.

Always a hit whenever I make it! I place the dip a serving bowl and surround it with the Hawaiian bread that has been torn into bite size pieces and placed under the broileruntil golden brown. YUMMO!!!

Always a hit! The last time I made it (filling a hollowed-out round rye) guests tore apart the empty bread bowl and proceeded to devour it after all of the dip was eaten!

I did use the water chestnuts, and served with water crackers and fresh vegetables. Delicious!

Delicious. We always hollow a round loaf of King's Hawiaan bread and serve with the bread cut out and veggies.

I absolutely love this spinach dip. I think that it's the best spinach dip recipe ever. The crunch of the water chestnuts adds a nice texture to the dip. I sometimes make this with light mayo and light sour cream and it's still a big hit.

This dip is delicious, but be careful it will give you a great deal of gas....sorry but that is what happens
