This is a real nice recipe for chops, and seriously couldn't be easier then putting chops in the pot & coming home to a wonderful, delicious treat. I followed this exactly, except I used regular ketchup, regular brown sugar, and added the onion, and some garlic as suggested by other reviewers. At the end, I put the chops on a warmed plate, and added 1 teaspoon of corn starch with cool water to make a slurry and added to the "gravy" to thicken it a bit, and spooned the thickened sauce onto some rice/ and chops. Delicious! Thank you LifeIsGood!

These were good and easy to make. I followed the recipe other then I used regular ketchup as I didn't have low carb ketchup. I love crock pot recipes.

Nice and tender pork chops. Loved the liquid smoke flavor. You could cut back on the sauce ingredients. There was so way too much. Over all a great dish. Thanks LifeIsGood for posting.

Fabulous recipe! Not much could be easier AND taste as good! I saved some calories by seasoning the chops and browning them under the broiler...no oil needed. I also used 6 boneless center cup pork chops, but could easily have had enough sauce for 8. The smell all day was heavenly and the dish was devoured, lickety split. No knives needed. Thanks LifeIsGood!

This is getting 5 stars even though I ended up not following the instructions! I am rewarding the stars for the wonderful taste. I am sure your method is also wonderful but I forgot that I was doing crockpot today and didn't realize it until it was much too late. I did have the pork chops thawed so decided to go ahead with it and use the oven for slow cooking. I browned the chops and used only half of the sauce recipe and put them in a 9x13 pan, covered with foil. I had the oven set at about 300F. All worked well until I had to turn up the temp (after 2 hours) for another dish and then the sauce started burning a bit. I quickly removed it from the oven and let it rest. While it was cooking my son asked if we were having ribs. Yes, it smelled and tasted delicious. I did like the was the sauce carmelized onto the chops, so good. But we did miss the sauce that we would have had from the crockpot (well, my husband did!). I just may do the recipe in the oven again but will watch the temp. very carefully. The smoky BBQ flavour was excellent and so were the tender chops. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for PRMR

I halved the sauce for 2 boneless chops, but I ran out of time so I cooked these on high for about an hour and a half in the crock pot. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and added in some garlic and onion (1 tsp jarred minced garlic and 1/4 of a white onion sliced thinly and quartered) to the sauce. Bf really liked the sauce and he said this smelled great too. I served this with a rice blend of Tasmati white, brown, wild, and red and the sauce was delicious with the rice, also. I did use regular ketchup and regular brown sugar. I did not feel there was too much sauce, as it was delicious especially with the added garlic and onion. Don't omit the liquid smoke, it really makes these reminiscent of good ribs! Made for Please Review My Recipe tag game. Thanks for sharing, LifeIsGood, this is a keeper recipe for sure.

Very good - I also used regular catsup with 1 small can of tomato juice (to make the 2 cups). These were in the crockpot all day (on low for 5 hours then it switches to warm) for very tender and delicious pork chops. Thanks for sharing this keeper!

So easy and so flavoursome. Except for adding an onion and three cloves of minced garlic, all just softened in the pan after the chops had been browned in step two, and adding some cumin in step three, I made these exactly to the recipe. I used olive oil and brown sugar. And I agree: don't forget the liquid smoke! Smelt divine while cooking, and were so wonderfully tender. Thanks for sharing this recipe, LifeIsGood.

This was really good and easy. It did have a taste similar to bbq ribs. Used boneless pork chops about 3/4" thick. Used regular ketchup and brown sugar because that's what I had on hand but will be prepared to make it as written when making it for my diabetic guests. Definitely use the liquid smoke as advised. Served with brown rice and asparagus. Great meal!

What an easy thing to make! It tasted great and my kids finished every bit. This sauce would be terrific with ribs, pork roast, chicken, etc. A couple of small substitutions - I used regular ketchup and brown sugar. It shouldn't have made a big difference. Just don't forget the smoke!
