Does this taste like commercial rice milk? Yes. Do I like commercial rice milk? Actually no. rice milk is not my thing at all. Just my taste buds and no fault of the recipe. I prefer oat milk. But this recipe is easy, tastes better than most and has an agreeable consistency. It also is very easy to make. So it is a 5 star recipe for those true rice milk fans out there.

The taste is great! Thanks! I had to add a lot of water though - it was really thick and rich and creamy. :D

This recipe was very good, after I increased the amount of water for this amount of rice. I made it with brown sugar instead of maple syrup, and liked that combination better. I liked my last batch better than commercial rice milks, and making it this way is so much cheaper.

It was pretty good. I think I will tweek it here and there however. What I do like is that I made it and I control what is in it. I hate the fact there is canola oil in the commercial product and lord know what else.

Easy to make and a great alternative to cow's milk! I didn't strain mine and it still tasted fine, although there were fine pieces throughout. I also used brown sugar instead of maple syrup, and added a HUGE sqeeze of honey! For reference, this recipe is actually the base for the milk, you adjust it with more water to your personal liking. I'm definitely keeping this recipe!
