I make one very similiar to this and my family loves it. I do not make the jello, just pour the powder into the cool whip and add 8 oz. of fat free yogart. You can get very creative with this. I have tried the white chocolate raspberry yogart with the rapsberry jello and used the chocolate crust intead. I added fresh raspberries on top. It was delicious.

All I had on hand was the regular jello and cool whip. So I made it with those. YUMMY!!!! But I will make it with the low cal ingredients next time. I don't think it will be any less delicious! So why eat extra calories?
I used raspberry flavor. This is SO good!! Thanks SaraFish for a great recipe! This goes into my favorite file!

This is wonderful. Very easy and very tasty. There was a big sale on fresh strawberries at the grocery so I added them into the jello mixture also. This was enjoyed by everyone I had over for Memorial Day. Thank you for posting.

Low fat and low cal?? You would never know - this is really good. Nice and refreshing for summer too. I used strawberry jello and it was awesome. Thanks so much for a great guiltfree dessert!

As my husband said, "it is what it is" and that is light, creamy, and delicious. Not outstanding, but a nice change of pace. I made it with strawberry jello and threw in some fresh strawberries, then topped mine off with a little chocolate sauce drizzled on top. DH loves coconut and commented that it's too bad I didn't put some in, so I might try that next time...I'll let you know! Thanks SF for sharing

This is one of my favorite desserts. I don't make it into a pie. I pour it into a 13x9 dish. It cuts well into squares. My favorite is SF orange jello with mandrin oranges and cottage cheese added.

I saw this recipe in one of my jello cookbooks (the grocery store kind) from 2000. Dh and I are trying to eat 'slimmer' for the holidays and this recipe fits in with that. I added fresh strawberries to this pie. Made it very refreshing. I could see making this with other flavors and fruits. Peach, raspberry, orange/manderine, etc. You could even experiment and use the new chocolate flavored coolwhip as well. Very versatile.
