My family went crazy over this! It was easy and tasty. My husband said he doesn't want "regular" sloppy joes ever again! I used a little over 1.5 lbs. of ground beef, so I scaled the sauce ingredients up. Other than that, I followed to a "T". It was difficult to get the top layer of crescent rolls sealed and to the edge of the pan, so I gave up on it, and it was still fine! I used 2 cups of cheese on top, since the recipe does not specify. It took about 20 minutes in the oven. Very quick, very tasty and family friendly! Thanks for sharing!

My picky teenager loved it. He thought it was some sort of pizza dish, so he gobbled it down. Thanks for all the extra tips Karen, they worked well. This is a keeper. Thanks!

Great easy meal! After reading that others had trouble sealing the top and bottom layers of crescent rolls, I didn't spread my sloppy joe filling quite to the edge and just layed the top layer of crescent rolls on top (without even attempting to seal). It worked fine. The flavor of this is good. I served it to some pretty fussy kids, but would add green pepper when making it for just my husband and I. We had a tossed fresh salad, peas, and cottage cheese with this. Everyone cleaned their plates!

Made this last night for dinner, very good. I used two cups of cheddar cheese, omit this if you don't have any, cooked for 20 minutes. The basic sloppy joe mix is one I will use for traditional sloppy joes (think OAMC). Next time I don't think I'll bother with the bottom layer of crescents, they kind of disappeared. Thanks for posting.

Wow! Threw this together tonight after a long day- felt the recipe was a bit vague when it came to the cooking time, and how much cheese to use. I cooked mine in a 8x11 pan (didn't look at the size until I was finished cooking it). Folded the edges over and it turned out great. Used 1 cup of cheese, and cooked it for about 20 minutes. Only change I made was to add some brown sugar to the mix, because it was a bit tangy for my taste. Dh said it was "almost" better than regular ones. That is a really big compliment for him to give! Thanks for sharing.

Scrumptious! I halved the recipe and used an 8x8-inch baking pan. Thanks for an easy dinner.

My husband loved this. I am not a hamburger fan but it was OK. One pan was enough for 2 nights, and we had a can of baked beans with it. Pretty good.

This is very easy to make and very delicious. It tastes like my mom's chili recipe. My niece and nephew really like it too.
