I used 1 lb. of ground meat and 1 lb. of Italian sausage and for the pasta sauce I used Emeril's Kicked Up Tomato. It was fantastic! The second pan for my freezer left with one my kids. Thanks Kit for a great Italian dish.

This was awesome! We skipped the 25-30 minutes simmering and just baked one right away and froze the other. We will definitely make this again!!

A very good OAMC recipe. I liked the idea of 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 italian sausage. It worked very well. I used 2 regular size jars of sauce plus a can large can of diced tomatoes and increased the pasta to 1 and 1/2 boxes. I especially love that we didn't order take out tonight because I had this in the fridge.

This is a keeper, especially now that my kids are in sports and I need recipes I can cook ahead and make extra to freeze. I used half ground beef and half hot italian sausage. I also doubled the recipe. Yum!

This is really yummy. I love the bell peppers, pepper flakes and sausage in there; they really zip it up (but not too hot). I use half sausage and half ground beef. I also add about 50% more pasta to make it a little less saucy (it's still really saucy!) and I also mix my pasta sauce about 2/3 jarred pasta sauce with about 1/3 diced tomatoes to make it a bit fresher tasting. This is really a keeper. Thanks!

Very good, easy. Because there are only two of us, I divided ours between 4 pans and there was plenty. Thanks Kit for another great recipe! Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders game.

This is one great recipe Kittencal. I used half beef and half Italian sausage and will stay with that. I got 3, 8X8 pans. I served it a with caesar salad and crusty rolls, the makings for a wonderful meal..Loved it,loved it and look forward to making it for visitors. Another great recipe from Kittencal.
