These were really good. I used orange zest and dried cranberries instead of blueberries and lemon zest. They were a little different than normal scones but for that tiny bit of fat you can't complain! I am on a low fat diet and had some brittish friends coming over and wanted to make scones and these hit the spot. Thanks!

I just finished throwing these together for the family for breakfast and they were very easy. Here are a few notes that I would like to mention: 1) I did not have lemon zest 2) I only had frozen blueberries 3) I used fat free milk because that is what our family has on hand 4) To get the glaze to the proper consistency that I wanted, I had to use 2-3 teaspoons of lemon juice instead of just 1 5) My recipe only made 5 scones because I used a muffin scoop 6) My bake time was exactly 15 minutes and they came out perfectly browned. I would imagine the larger scones accounted for the longer baking time. I made this recipe to participate in the Zaar game Healthy Choices ABC 2008. Thanks so much for posting this easy scone recipe. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that this was my first attempt at making scones. Thanks again! YUM!

Yum! I made these this morning, and they were delish! I didn't have parchment paper, so I just sprayed my cookie sheet with some Pam and they slid right off! Will definitely make again, and I can't wait to try the glaze on them. They went too fast for me to let them cool down for it. Thank you for giving me another great idea for using my Light Bisquick!

I was craving something different for breakfast, and I stumbled across your recipe. I luckily had a bag of frozen blueberries in my freezer, so I whipped these up in no time. Unfortunately I did not have any lemon zest or juice, and I felt they lacked something without it. Next time I will definitely make sure to use both the lemon zest in the scone and make the glaze since I think that would give it a nicer flavor. What I loved about it was how simple it was! It took ten minutes to prepare, ten minutes to cook, and only five minutes to clean up my mess, so I had five minutes to create a nice breakfast cocktail to enjoy with the scones. This is a keeper recipe I will definitely make again. Thank you so much for a great recipe!

The calorie count is too good to be true. I used http://www.calorie-count.com for each ingredient and came up with 1102 total calories / 8= 138 each.

This recipe is awesome! I did end up adding only 1/4 c. of powder sugar and 2 ts. lemon juice to make the glaze the consistency that I like. This is a real treat and didn't taste low fat at all! Thank you so much for sharing!

The calorie count is actually 116 with fat of 1.6 g per scone. For a low calorie scone it actually tastes pretty good except that the texture is more like a cake than scone. The serving size is pretty large - maybe the recipe can yield 10 servings of a decent size. I don't want to put a glaze so maybe I'll increase the sugar in the recipe next time.

These are FANTASTIC! The only thing I added was freshly ground Nutmeg & used heart healthy Bisq. mix. I have made Blueberry scones in the past, however the recipes always used heavy cream & who needs the fat anyway! Thank you so much for posting it. Ferryal

I had to add a little more milk than what the recipe called for because the mix was too dry. But, These turned out really great! I will most definitely be making these again.
