Quick, delicious and versatile. I can imagine using these in a spinach salad. I used an egg timer to keep track of the 3 minutes. Perfect.

Made up 1 cup of these as a snack for us and they were so delicious I should have just gone and made the entire recipe. I would really like to try these next time with a bit of spice, too. I think they would take to chili really well.

Having stocked up on Maple Syrup for the Canadian Tour found I had to restock to make this one. Made using both walnuts and pecans - both were equally good. Quick, easy and so delicious. Added to my Christmas Baking and Treats Cookbook - know I will have to double the recipe!

Very simple and excellent recipe. I was making toasted walnuts with sugar for Chinese style chicken salad, but this one is simpler than the recipe I was using. Thanks for posting this Cookiedog.

Really quick and easy. I made this recipe with pecans. I was hoping that these would be a little crunchier, but they're wonderful and not too sweet.

Thanks, cookiedog. This is a super recipe. The nuts are not at all sticky and have a nice flavor. I added additional sea salt for more of a sweet/salty taste. Soooo quick to make, almost no cleaning up to do. If you need a last-minute gift, this is it. . . . . Janet

Well I have been looking for a good maple glazed walnut recipe for a long time, as I am originally from NH I love maple syrup. Made one batch and you are right, hard to stop nibbling, anyway, just finished toasting the entire 3 pound bag of walnuts! I buy my syrup from the sugar house when I go home so I had plenty of syrup. They are soooo good. This recipe is going into my personal cookbook that I am writing for my family. Simple to make, great taste. I used a non stick skillet which worked great. Would make a great hostess gift too. Thank you!
