I lived in Japan for years and my wife and I had been trying to get a creamy sesame dressing for some time here in the states without luck. We finally decided to make our own when we stumbled on this recipe. Although I don't use the exact quantities recommended this recipe is excellent. Better than anything store bought we have tried. Highly recommended!

Excellent dressing! I served it with a spinach salad and Chicken Katsu as a dipping sauce. Both of us loved the dressing.

I just made this and it is sooooo good! I made it with stuff I had on hand, so I left out the mirin, sesame seeds, ajinomoto, and Tabasco. Wow! I think I'll never buy salad dressing again! Thanks!

This dressing is fantastic. I love it and so does my family. It reminds me of Hirano's Japanese Restaurant's (in Savannah, GA) sauce. Thank you so much for posting it.

We had been having my Mother-in-law ship Kewpie sesame salad dressing for years, since it's about the best we ever had. After we found this recipie and tried it, we agree that it taste like it came right out of the Kewpie bottle. Great job Rinshinomori. We are so impressed, and now we can save a lot on the shipping costs!

This is the best salad dressing I have ever made, and my family wants me to make it constantly. I can see why your father is addicted.
I left out the ajinomoto, but otherwise followed the recipe. thank you so much for posting this - it's going straight to my permanent rotation cookbook! Made for ZWT4.
