Excellent cookie! Butterfingers are my favorite candy and these were a hit! The recipe went together really easy, but I did make a few changes. I used creamy PB and only about 1/2 cup of it. This was because that was all I had but really wanted to try the recipe anyway. I think I will always make them like that as they were just peanut buttery enough and held together perfectly. Thanks for posting, Kim!

I love Butterfinger so I was thrilled to find this recipe. I used my food processor to cut up the butterfinger, but I'm afraid that it might have been too much. The cookie tasted like peanutbutter, but it didn't have the yummy crunchiness of the Butterfinger. Next time I might also add chocolate chips. We have enjoyed the cookies. Thanks for the recipe Kim!

These cookies are wonderful! Like a peanut butter cookie with a surprise!I took them to work and they were a big hit. They are very chewy and very addicting. The recipe itself was easy to follow. I will be making these again often. Thanks, Kim!

the cookie monster(my son
)said if he could give these more than 5 *'s he would, and i really have to agree myself. i used creamy peanut butter, just a personal choice.i used a fun size bag( 12.5 ounce) of butterfingers.i made my cookies just a tad smaller and i flattened them out a little, with this method i ended up with 5 doezen instead of 4.this is going to be on my cookie trays for christmas. thank you for posting.

This is a well written and easy to follow recipe that results in a yummy cookie. But be certain to leave the butterfinger pieces much bigger than you think you want them as they tend to crumble very easily when you stir them in. This cookie has good flavor, but to me it tastes like a peanut butter cookie. Thanks Kim for sharing your recipe!

We loved this cookie! It could easily become my favorite. I used a .5 ounce / 39 mm cookie scoop and I was able to make 4 1/2 dozen. I used my food processor to crumble the bars and that worked very well. I also used Demerara sugar for extra crunch. I'm submitting a photo in gratitude of such a great cookie recipe. Thanks again Kim D!

These cookies were really good and easy to make, however I felt the flavor was really dominated by the peanut butter. You really couldn't tell there was butterfinger in them.

I just made this recipe and was about to post it but I see it's been done. So I'll add my 2 cents here.
My husband and I absolutely loved these cookies. I left my Butterfinger chunks quite large, and I found that we could still taste the flavor, so maybe that's the key. I also used creamy peanutbutter and they came out just great. Definitely going to make these again!

These rock! That's all there is to it. I'm pretty sure they're my new favorite. The only complaint that I have is that the recipe doesn't make enough. Either double the recipe or hoard them all yourself. Possibly do both.
