Made this more than once and neglected to post a review earlier. Simply put these are a sure fire winner. Have used the same recipe with asparagus and that too was fabulous. I lightened this my using half the amount of oil. This required a little fast movement in the cooking of the ginger and garlic, but worth the calorie saving effort. Also, my sesame seeds always take far less time than stated, so one need to watch the pan and notice when the seeds begin to dance. Thanks Boomie!

I used sesame oil instead of vegetable oil for a bit of extra flavor. I also used frozen green beans instead of fresh. So I reduced the stock amount and didnt cook the beans as long. Wonderfully yummy recipe.

These is a very nice way to prepare green beans. I made 1/2 a recipe and will enjoy leftovers later in the week. The garlic was doubled and the sesame seeds were just a sprinkle. The beans took a little bit longer to cook that the recipe indicated. Something I would do again. Thanks for posting.

I really enjoyed the change from plain green beans with butter. I loved the toasted sesame seeds and ginger. I made along with another of Boomette's recipes for Peking Salmon Maple and Ginger. Great dinner combo! Made for Zaar Stars Tag Game

These are WONDERFUL! Followed the recipe as written except cooked mine considerably longer...maybe 5 minutes! They were perfect! Thanks for sharing!

These were quite tastey and easy to make. I also used toasted sesame oil and a vege boullion cube with water. Served with teriyaki salmon and Jasmine Rice With Garlic, Ginger, and Cilantro. Lovely summer dinner.

This reminds me a lot of the Garlic Green Beans I make all the time, but with a twist of ginger. Easy to make, absolutely delicious, and the kids ate them. (DD14 preferred it without the sesame seeds, everyone else with.) Made for Zaar Stars 08.

These were great!! The green bean had a slight ginger taste which I really liked. I had a slight amound of water left over after cooking the beans so I poured it over the green beans. I will be making these again.
