When I say to my family "Another new recipe!" they are very apprehensive and uneasy until they actually take that first bite. However, this combination of home made sauce and vegetables burst forth a gusto flavor they loved. I reluctantly doubled the sauce so it would soak into the rice below and I was so glad I did. The strange combination of ingredients, with "2" tablespoons of minced garlic, I just couldn't see how it could taste good. But wait, it was REALLY, REALLY gratifying! Now I am concerned that they enjoyed it so much they will not want to go back to package kind! Thank you for sharing this recipe; the pineapple was an awsome addition!

This was exactly what I was looking for. I was searching for a sweet and sour chicken stir-fry to replace the frozen boxed convenience kit from the grocery store and this was great! A tasty sweet & sour sauce that went great with the pineapple. I served it with brown rice and my hubby says it's better than the boxed version. Thanks for another keeper, MizzNezz!

I really liked this dish! I love stir fry and this one has a great flavor to it - very unique! I used fresh veggies so it took me a little longer but results were fantastic - also used a less than the whole can of pinapple and chopped it into smaller bits. We will use this one again and again!

Very good, I'm surprised it wasn't sweeter with the pineapple and juice but it was perfect. I added a couple tbsp. Hoisin sauce but followed the rest of the recipe to a T. thanks so much

This was an excellent dish. My whole family loved it. I made one change to it and that was I added about 2Tbs of brown sugar when I added the pineapples and sauce. It gave it a great taste.

This was really good, MizzNezz! Use rice wine vinegar instead of cider and added 2 8 oz cans of pineapple tidbits. I added crushed red pepper to my serving because I like spicy. Delicious! I also added a couple more teaspoons of cornstarch in the end to try to make the sauce a bit more clingy and it was just so yummy and fulfilling! Thanks again!

This is so easy and sinfully delicious. I used low sodium soy sauce, and also used 2 fresh green and red peppers, cut into 1 inch square in place of the frozen stir-fry vegetables (personal choice). Excellent. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

Excellent flavor, easy to make. I used less added sugar, but otherwise followed the recipe, using sugar snap peas. Fantatstic! The only thing I would change next time is warming/reducing the sauce separately before mixing with the chicken. Terrific recipe.

Outstanding! I made this exactly as directed last night and we ate every last morsel it was so good. I will do this one frequently as it's great tasting and so easy, inexpensive and very quick to prepare. I will probably double the sauce next time as some reviewers suggested. Thanks for posting this MissNezz. I have lots of your recipes that are favorites of mine so whenever I see one that sounds good and has your name on it, I'm pretty confidant that tonight's meal will be good. I've seldom been disappointed.

This was delicious, as well as quick, easy and healthy. Plus, these are ingredients that I usually have around. Definitely a keeper. I accidentally added a little bit more pineapple juice and it was good. I also added a few red pepper flakes for a little spice. I served it over brown rice.
