When I came upon this I thought... Milk and grape juice?? But to my suprise, it was really good! I made this for my three youngest nieces and they really liked it!! I added more than 2 cups of ice cream so it would be a little thicker. Thanks craftymama! It is a sure kid pleaser!

Made this for my daughter for a mid morning snack, she loved it, even let me share some. I would have liked it a bit thicker but I did use unfrozen grape juice so next time will be sure to freeze it before hand. Made for ZWT III, Zingo.

This was very good. I think next time I'll partially freeze the milk, so I get a nice thick purple cow. I made this for ZWT III 2007 - Zingo

This is my second attempt at making a purple cow. My first was a purple burping cow with grape soda, ice cream, and mini marshmallows. This version is MUCH better! My 3 year old would not even drink the first one, even though he loves all 3 ingredients. He inhaled this today, and will have it again! Thanks for posting! Made for ZWT3 Zingo...and will make again!

This was my first milkshake in years! It's very nice, too!

This was very good. I made this for my son and his friend tonight and they thought it was the bomb. I had a sip and for me it was just a bit too sweet, but it was yummy.

As a graduate of Williams College, I knew I had to make this recipe the moment I saw the title. We give this four stars for taste, which was unusual but really interesting. However, I couldn't seem to get the texture right. No matter how much I blended it, the milkshake remained full of little ice granules that we didn't care for. I think next time I will try it with less ice. Made for ZWT III Zingo.

Very nice milk shake. Next time we may try black cherry ice cream instead of vanilla.
