Bev..Let me just say, WOW! This was SO perfect for the cool damp days we have been having around here. Starbucks has a new hot chocolate drink called the "Chantico" and that has nothing on this awesome recipe you have submitted! Thanks so much. I have made this several times in the last week. It's very important to have as good a quality chocolate as you can find. Yummmm... Hugs, Susie

Wow! Ultra-rich is right! This stuff will knock your socks off! Prepared as directed but it did take much longer than 6 minutes. More like 20. I used Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate chips as my chocolate of choice. It was very rich and delicious. A lovely treat on a snowy day. Thanks for sharing Bev!!

Oh, wow! This is the best hot chocolate I've ever had, bar none! I made it for the base of my Sue on Horseback Sue on Horseback and had to fight to keep enough to make two drinks, as my daughter and grandson were lying in wait for the rest. It was very easy to make, was done in five minutes, and is full of dense chocolate goodness. I'll never make any other recipe. Thanks so much for this wonderful treat, Bev! (Almost forgot to add that it's great with a small sprinkle of cinnamon added, as well.)

Very rich and full of chocolate flavor. Wish we had marshmallows or whipped cream for it. Thanks

This was really good! I didn't have any bittersweet chocolate so I used white chocolate instead and it was really good.

This really is ULTRA rich! I was out of store bought hot chocolate and was searching zaar for a recipe that did not inlclude powdered drink mix, or powdered milk and your recipe was perfect. DH and the kids mixed their hot chocolate half and half with milk because it was so strong. I, however, thought it was a nice chocolate treat. Thanks for posting!

Loved the dark chocolate taste, but would like it to be a bit smoother. Mine turned out a bit grainy from the semisweet chocolate. I will definitely make it again! Thanks!

This was like drinking a creamy, liquid brownie! I love chocolate, so used Hershey's Special Dark dutch processed cocoa and 85% Belgian extra dark chocolate. I topped it off with extra creamy Cool Whip and chocolate sprinkles. Oh my goodness is this rich and delicious! This is a very special treat that I will enjoy on special occassions or when I need a little extra pampering and a bubble bath. Thanks, Bev~
