This was delicious! Talk about comfort food. I had to make it using soy milk and soy cheese for dietary reasons, and it still turned out great. I also omitted the breadcrumbs because I didn't have any on hand, and reduced the milk to 2 cups because there were no breadcrumbs to soak it up. I can't wait to try it with the breadcrumbs next time!

I am a huge fan of macaroni and cheese, however this was my first time making it myself. I chose this recipe as it was very simple and I only had to use one pan for the whole thing. I was not disappointed - this was a great casserole! I used pre-shredded tex-mex cheese I had on hand, but next time I will use cheddar and mozzarella (I don't buy Velveeta). I think next time I will also add minced onions for a little bit of flavour. I forgot to dot the top with butter but this didn't seem to make much of a difference. Thanks for sharing!

So simple, yet very good, I added cut up hot dogs for a full meal, the kids loved it.

My uncle used to bake something like this, except cracking an egg or two into it, (to absorb the milk) and then grating cheddar cheese over the top, It's still this amazing cheesy outstanding dish!

This was just a wonderful mac N Cheese recipe. Very easy. It is so hot here I can't bear the thought of turning on my oven, so I made this dish in my 3 qt. crockpot. I added about 2 more ozs. of cheese and added everything to the crockpot and cooked it on low for about 3 hrs. The bottom was a little crispy and probably didn't get the topping like it would be in the oven, but it still was a great side dish. Thanks and when it cools down some here you can be sure I'll be making this again as written.

Too much milk, way too runny. I even let it cook longer....45 minutes. Did not care for the flavor at all.

This is the worst mac and cheese i've ever tried! Why all that milk? it came out sloppy and tasteless. Would be better with no milk at all.
