It couldn't be any easier than this. This recipe goes together in 2 minutes (or less) and it tastes great. I did use the Hormel "real" bacon bits and, I agree, it is a must. I think this would also be great to try with different cheese like pepper jack. This is wonderful for crackers, chips or veggies. Thanks for sharing!

We really like this, although DH doesn't want the cheese in it next time...he's not big on cheese. Silly man. But this was so easy to put together and really tasted great with veggies and Ritz crackers! Thanks for posting and congrats on winning the football pool!!

Wonderful! Made with my last precious packet of Ranch Dip, sent by a friend in the USA, and made exactly as stated. We had these for dipping and snacking with drinks for friends. A great whizz together recipe, one of the best Ranch dressing combinations I have made - the cheddar and bacon makes it. I did not have sour cream so used creme fraiche instead. Thanks MsSally, FT

This dip is fantastic! I made this to take to a potluck but couldn't help myself from trying it after a few hours in the fridge. The salt from the bacon bits paired with the creaminess of the sour cream and cheddar is a perfect combination. You MUST use Hormel bacon bits with this for an authentic bacon flavor. Thanks for sharing this awesome dip recipe, MsSally! It went directly into my "Tried and True" cookbook and is one I will make over and over again!

This was really good and easy to make. We used veggies to dip. Everyone enjoyed it. I followed the recipe exactly as written. I too prefer Hormel bacon bits!

I used also Hormel bacon bits. And now I just saw I made a mistake loll I put 1 cup of sour cream (8 ounces). So that explain the thickness of it. But we loved it loll Maybe I'll add another 8 ounces tomorrow. I'll have to use with veggies. Cause with tostitos, the brand I had, was too salty. Thanks Sally

This was excellent dip. Great flavor. Served with tortilla chips. I did not use hormel brand bacon bits and thought it was great! Thanks for the recipe. Will make often.
