When I read this recipe, it didn't sound all that different than any other, but based on a 5 star rating by someone else, I tried it and my company did all but lick the bowl clean when I served it! Be careful with the salt. BE SURE to salt the water when you cook the potatoes! (I notice a lot of recipes don't mention that anymore. A young cook doesn't know to do this). I doubled the amount of salad dressing because (I used more like 10 or 11 potatoes)--but the eggs and it wasn't dry the next day when I served it. GREAT potato salad!

Made this for a little Memorial Day Bar-B-Que, after agonizing over all of the available potato salad recipes on Zaar, but am sure glad that I picked this one. It was great, no not great, amazing!!! It's a keeper, thank you for sharing.

YEAH!! FINALLY someone who makes the same potato salad that I do!! I never use a recipe, so it is so nice to see it written down!!! Now, I can give this to my mom who makes terrible potato salad (she uses Miracle Whip - which just doesn't taste right!!!!) The only thing I do different is to use a little less onion - personal preference - I use about 1/2 of an onion. The paprika is a must!!! Thanks for posting this recipe!!!!

The best! I've never been able to make good potato salad until now. I cut the recipe in half. I microwaved the potatoes and then let them cool a couple of hours in the fridge. Peeled and diced them. I used red onions and no celery (didn't have any). It tasted great, just like the deli. I also added a few teaspoons of dill pickle relish and some diced red bell pepper for color. Will use this recipe from now on. Thank you for sharing!!

I tried this recipe for my granddaughter's graduation party, the raves I received for this potato salad were overwhelming. The only work I can use to describe this potato salad is DELICIOUS!! Thank you. Mrs. Jean H. Ferconio - Palos Heights, Illinois

This recipe is a keeper; tastes Iike mom use to make. I omit the sugar and add a few more tablespoons of cider vinger. I also add a handful of chopped fresh parsley for flavor and color.

I searched for a potato salad recipe for a little BBQ we were having last weekend. I was a little inundated with all the recipes available, but I'm sure glad I went with this one.I made the salad the day before and just added a little more mayo right before serving. We got lots of comments on it. Thanks for the great recipe!

I never can make potato salad that comes out the way I like it, but this one worked for me!! Loved the consistancy and the only change I made was to use dill relish as I prefer this to sweet pickle relish. Great salad!

This is pretty much the recipe I grew up with...I did however steal from another recipe which said to mash and add the egg yolks (only) to the dressing...I used four...Worked out well...I threw in some celery salt as well...I also like to add cucumbers and finely chopped radishes...Very good salad...

This was very good and my family loved it. It was a bit salty for me so next time I'll use a little less. Thanks for the recipe.
