Wow, this is a great recipe! I can't believe how great these taste for how little calories!! I think the oven should be at 425. Also, I used paprika instead of chili powder b/c my husband doesn't like spicy foods. The color red adds so much to these fries!

What a great way to make turnips! Ours did not turn out crunchy the way potatoes do, but we didn't mind because they tasted great. I used a whole bunch of turnips and adjusted the seasonings accordingly. Thanks for posting!

These were good. Omitted salt. They took about 50 min altogether to bake, likely because I had a 3 lb turnip, so it was a very full baking sheet. I stirred them around several times. The chili powder is a great choice. I always line my baking sheet with parchment paper when making 'bakes' or 'fries' with potatoes or yams or sweet potatoes and now...turnips!
