Great flavor, the sauce is very thick, so I might cut the cornstarch down a teaspoon almost similar to a jelly consistancy, will make again but with some adjustments, thanks for sharing Syd!

The combination of beets (which I love) and pineapple (which I love also) goes together pretty well. I assumed the pineapple was supposed to be undrained, so in making the sauce I included the juice from the tidbits can. By the way I used leftover cooked beets, which originally came from the organic food farm, in place of the canned.

Fantastic beets Sydney! We had along with our corned beef dinner and everyone loved them. DH and DD's want them again soon, so they will be made again!

AWESOME RECIPE!!! My mom used to make something like this when I was little and I had forgoten how good they were. This really tastes more like a dessert than beets. Kids loved it...so that is a definite plus. If they only knew they were eating something that was good for them (ha-ha). I will be making these quite often. I followed the recipe exactly the first night and doubled it the second night and everything was just delicious both times. Thank You.

I'm rating this as someone who doesn't normally like beets. I'm all for trying new things and so I thought I would try this. DH ate it but said he probably wouldn't want it again. DD (3 yo) and myself thought it was pretty good. We would probably eat it again. The pineapple and brown sugar add a nice sweetness to the beets and the flavors meld nicely together.

We love beets and pineapple but I don't think I have ever put them together before. Splenda brown sugar blend was used along with fresh pineapple. I used some of the liquid that the beets were cooked in for the sauce. This is definitely a repeat. Thanks Sydney Mike for posting.

Outstanding! We loved these! I doubled the recipe and used a large can of the pineapple tidbits, and it turned out excellent! Hubby said "You can definitely make these again!" Thank you so much for posting this recipe!
