Very interesting drink. I would have never put the two together, but they compliment each other. Thanks Syd

This was very interesting! I must say I never had anything taste like this. Pineapples and tomatoes who would have thought? I poured over ice and the layered very nicely!

The vibrant colors of this drink makes it very appealing. So it gets a five star for appearance. Stir it up and the drink itself is very good. I wonder if you could rim the glass lightly in margarita salt? I might have to try it this way. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Made for Zaar Tag 2007

Wow ! Lovely ! I served this in shot glasses for guests at a tapas style lunch and it was well received. The taste of the pineapple was lovely as an immediate chaser to the tomato juice and several guests squeezed their lemon on top of the tomato juice as an extra dimention to this "cocktail". It was liked that this was non-alcholic and that it would be great on a party tray so that the "designated drivers" could also enjoy a tipple that looked very much the part of the party scene with any trouble getting behind the wheel later. I found that the tomato juice wanted to ever so slowly sink into the pineapple juice once these had been standing for a while, so there is a limit to how far these could be made in advance but guests were wow'ed by the presentation and by the simplicity of the recipe. Truth tell, so was I. Please see my rating system: Everyone agreed 4 lovely stars for an excellent and tasty drink that made on a large or small scale glass is sure to be a hit. Thanks !

I just have to give this a 5 star rating because it is so darn pretty and couldn't be more simple to prepare. It made for an interesting twist on my morning juice. I sprinkled a bit of salt over the top, since that's how I drink tomato juice.

Other than adding a dash of salt, and an extra squeeze of lemon on top... This was so easy and a pretty drink. Never thought of the combination, but it worked for me. Thanks for sharing (Made for Bevy Tag 08) Cheers! ~V

Not only is this beautiful, it tastes great too! It was one of the easiest drinks I have ever had the pleasure of layering. Strange as it sounds, the flavors complemented each other perfectly. Thank you Syd!
