Wowwy, this was soooo good! I prepared following the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing. Full of flavor that is sure to please, this one is a winner all the way at my house! The combination of ingredients makes for one AWESOME soup! I may try using shrimp next time and see how it works.

This recipe sounded so good to me I just had to try it. I showed it to my DH and he said, Make it, Make it! So I did, and I am so glad I did, it was excellent! Creamy and a good mix of flavors. Nothing overpowered the delicious taste of the crab. My DH can't wait for me to make it again so he can bring the leftovers to work. Thank you!

Made this for Father's Day. Missed that the potatoes were supposed to be precooked. Luckily I had cut them very small. I put the Chowder on low for an hour, so it didn't boil, but the potatoes cooked. Next time I will pre-cook the potatoes. I all loved this chowder. Will make again!
