Oh my, this recipe is outstanding! I used a combination of yellow, orange and red tomatoes. The taste of the dressing is a perfect balance of tart and sweet. I love fresh basil and it adds a nice dimension to all the other wonderful flavors. I did not change one thing. This recipe is wonderful as it is posted. Thanks so much, de Roche!

This was absolutely delicious, even made with supermarket tomatoes that were only moderately flavorable. The dressing made up for it, but I can't wait to try it again with the wonderful tomatoes I get from the farmer's market.

Fantastic! This was my dinner tonight I had about a tomato and a half. I told my DD that we best not eat any more. Because I think it would taste great with some fresh mozzarella cheese on each tomato. So I'm going to try to find some tomorrow. Made this dressing on tomatoes and cucumbers and it was really good. So much better than the basic vinegar dressing I usually make.. will be enjoying this a lot this summer.

I searched for recipes using basil because I have a bumper crop. I loved this dressing so much I'd make it even if I had to buy the basil...it is very tasty. I served it with chicken and pasta with this sauce, which is delicious "Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto". I love summer foods!!
