This is one delicious, satisfying meal! I too trimmed some calories by using fat free sour cream and 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup. Served it over yolk free whole wheat blend noodles. I love recipes that allow adaptability for a healthier variation. Thanks very much!

My family just got done devouring this meal and we're speechless!
I actually didn't think it was going to be creamy bacause all I had was fat free sour cream. It still turned out perfectly...with fewer calories and less fat to boot! To my dismay, I had no peas, but that didn't change the outcome. Thanks for the terrific recipe!

This recipe is a STAR!
I loved ground stroganoff growing up - and this dish brings back good memories. I used all light or fat free ingredients, added a small dash of paprika, used slightly more pepper than called for and omitted the peas - but otherwise, followed exactly. This has a definite "wow" factor. This is going straight into my "Zaar Stars" cookbook - thank you SO much for sharing!

Made this tonight for dinner. We loved it. I did not add in the sliced mushrooms, and I used Lawry Garlic Salt instead, I also can't seem to make stroganoff without adding in at least 3-4 tbs. of red wine.. YUM! Thanks for the post..

My husband and I just got through with this, and it was very good. I didn't have mushrooms on hand, and the peas were canned, but it was still very good. Next time, if I use canned peas, I will put them in right before I put in the sour cream, as they turned out a little mushy using them so soon. Very good. Thanks!

Made this tonight, used non-fat sour cream as noted by another, and green beans instead of peas, as that was what I had on hand. Hubby & 12 yo had 2nd helpings, 6 yo took a long time with her 1/2 helping. Overall, it seemed to go over pretty well, but needs more spice...maybe minced garlic and something else?

I was looking for a recipe to use some ground turkey I found on sale. I omitted the peas, and used fresh garlic cloves. Also added a tbs of onion soup mix to the soup mixture. Very easy and flavorful. Thanks for sharing!

Great eatin'. My family loved it. I used the lowest fat ground turkey I could find, fat free soup, reduced fat sour cream and skim milk. I used about a pound of fresh mushrooms. I saved the little bit of leftovers for lunch but one of my kids couldn't resist it and there was nothing left in the morning. Thanks so much for a recipe that will become a regular at my house.

This is coming from a family who does not live gravy..... we LOVED it! I excluded the sourcream, in hopes it wouldn't be "to" gravyish, & it worked. It was perfect. I cannot get over how easy it was but yet very delicious. thanks for the recipe, this is by far a keeper!!
