I used your taco seasoning recipe with great success last night. I added it to ground turkey and made layered taco salads. I liked this seasoning mix. It has a great mix of flavors, thickened well, and the tiny hint of heat was perfect for us. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

This was great! I made soft tacos using this taco seasoning along with Freakin' Good Guacamole and Simple Mexican Rice. It all went very well together and I will use this seasoning again. Thanks! Made for ZWT5

Well,Potsi, you have another 5* review on this WONDERFUL !!!!! taco seasoning.
Even though I only had a 1/2lb. ground beef, I still made the full amount of this wonderful recipe.(But I did't use it all)For just using half the recipe, this is what I did.Browned the meat, drained, returned to the pan, added 2 Tablespoons of seasoning, and about 1/2 cup water. Then I let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Then I used the taco seasoned meat as a topping for my baked potatoes,it was so good. This will be made again, thank you so much for posting."Keep Smiling

I took this camping with me and everyone loved it. Although we felt that the flour made it a bit "paste-y". It did not detract from the flavour at all though. Next time, we will just leave the flour out. No problem! The spice level was perfect. Out of 8 kids that ate it, only one found it too spicy. The 3 adults loved it. This was a great addition to our crazy camping adventure.

Muy Bueno! I am so glad the recipe isn't private anymore. I did not have any beef bouillon powder so I used two beef bouillon cubes, which worked well. Thanks, Pot Scrubber, this just became a staple pantry item in our house.

Great taco mix that all my family including my 3 and 5 years olds enjoyed. Tonight I used some lamb mince (ground lamb) for our tacos. Once the lamb was browned I added the seasoning mix and let it cook slightly before adding the water and since I wanted it to simmer for slightly longer to blend the flavours I added about 1/2 cup more water. For any Aussie/Kiwi's out there make sure you use Mexican Chilli Power and Smoked Paprika which are both available in our supermarkets from masterfoods. Thank you Potz, a keeper for us.

Excellent! used it in Fresh, Fried & Spicy Soft Tacos and also made taco burgers with it. The taco burgers tasted like a favorite Mexican place we use to eat at. Thanks Pot Scrubber. Bullwinkle

I came across this because I had run out of Taco seasoning for a slow cooked shredded beef recipe I was making. The smell of all these spices are fantastic. I didn't use the flours as I was worried that it would thicken it too much in the 9hrs my flank steak needed to cook. I took a wee taste after adding the liquid and all I can say this deserves more than 5 stars. Thanks Potsie this is a keeper.

Very good. The flavor is significantly better than the store bought packages. I mixed this up during an OAMC blitz, and stored it in a zip-top baggie until I needed it.
