The BEST Turkey I have cooked...I even WOWED my husband! This is the first year I had to make the turkey by myself and I was very nervous but I turned the unstuffed turkey on the breast and put a cheesecloth on top, then lots of Chicken Stock and basted it often. It was very moise and very flavorful. I also added onion and garlic to the turkey and saffaron on top. It was so good I would like to have another oppotunity for a turkey meal besides Thanksgiving!

I've always cooked my turkeys in cooking bags also and decided to try this out. It was great! I highly recommend using a meat thermometer to make sure you don't overcook or undercook.

I made this trukey for our christmas dinner and it turned out soooo good. I cooked the turkey breast down for about 2 1/2 hours and then turned it around for browning and it was extremely moist!!!!

I'm sure this is the perfect turkey recipe, but it was too juicy for my family's taste. We've been brought up on dry, overcooked turkey, so this was new for us. The taste was great, but since I forgot to buy a meat thermometer, nobody was convinced that it was cooked all the way, and we were scared to eat it. We ate the outer meat for dinner, and later I threw the leftovers back in the oven to dry it out a little, so I will defenitely try this again, just with the thermometer.

I knew where to go for my Thanksgiving turkey recipe. Carol, my boyfriend said this was the best, most juicy turkey ever. I really appreciated having a recipe that I knew would work and I did not hesitate or look around for any other recipe. I used this in conjunction with your turkey brine recipe. Thank you (and my guests thank you) for a wonderful Thanksgiving turkey.

This was perfect! I knew I could trust Kitten! This is similar to what I usually do, but I had never tried the chicken broth in the bottom of the pan, and I always put it in uncovered first, then covered it later if it started getting too brown. This works better! It was moist, and VERY flavorful! Thanks Kitt! You rock!

Fantastic!! We cooked this recipe last night and followed the directions exactly. Everyone raved about the tender, flavorful meat. We roasted it breast-down and added some apple slices to the carcass and cooked the stuffing separately. Take your time seasoning the bird before cooking and you will be pleased with this easy and delicious recipe.

This was one of the best recipes by far. The turket came out the prettiest golden amber color. The white meat was juicy for turkey meat and the dark meat was AWESOME! I didn't have a roaster but will def. be getting one for next time. Thanks for the great recipe!
