Yummmy... used to eat this alot as a child... then one day I saw my BF making some for his breakfast!!! It's his "go-to" when I don't make breakfast for him he says!!! I love the combination of flavors... lots of buttery goodness with the cinnamon and sugar...

This is exactly the way we always had it growing up, too. I just made four slices now and can't believe I forgot how good it tasted. I will remember to make this recipe! Thanks Vseward, for posting. Roxygirl

This is the only way we had cinnamon toast when I was a kid! I didn't even think anyone made cinnamon toast by using the toaster. But, my husband prefers that when the top side is warm and bubbly, that I flip it over to toast the reverse side, to make the toast crisper. So, for the last 36 years, I've been flipping over my cinnamon toast under the broiler to toast the flip side; ) To me, the bread always has to be a soft white bread, like Wonder. Wheat bread works just as well, but for me, the white bread brings back fond memories of my childhood. We make cinnamon toast often, so I keep a shaker container of sugar/cinnamon mixture available in my cabinet at all times mixing about 1 cup of sugar to 3 TBSP cinnamon (or there about). Be generous when you sprikle Thank you for posting this wonderful recipe for cinnamon toast, Chef Vseward!

I made this for Zaar World Tour III - I made these for breakfast today. I had everything on hand and they were very simple to make. I'm not normally a sweet tooth person so I added less sugar. The cinnamon really spiced up my morning. Thank you Chef ~Vseward

This was good! Though I messed up and almost burned the first batch haha! Don't know the strength of my own broiler setting!

This is soooo good! I used to just make regular cinnamon toast, but broiling it all is so much better. Made for ZWT3. Thanks for posting!

I love cinnamon toast anyhow, but this was especially nice for my breakfast today! It reminded me of a sweet version of the garlic bread we make with spaghetti (the texture of it). Lots of cinnamon-sugar is a must here. Thanks for posting!

I have made this for the past 4 days for breakfast. I dont have a toaster and this way made the toast taste soooo much better. I dont flip mine I like the top nice and crisp with the bottom hot and soft. Thanks for sharing!

This is the easiest way to make cinnamon toast. My DD (almost 3) ate 2 slices by herself.
