I have made this so many times and so many different ways! Sometimes I throw chocolate chips in, sometimes cinnamon chips. I have also used peanut butter instead of the melted butter. I also normally make them into muffins - makes 12.

This was the easiest and the best tasting banana bread I have ever made, and I have tried many different recipes only to have it turn out dry or just nasty. I had 9 very ripe bananas that needed used up so I made a triple batch which turned out 3 large loaves and 2 mini-loaves, all of them were very tasty! Even my husband (and his friends at work) enjoyed the bread. This recipe is a definite keeper in my kitchen!

By far the simplest banana bread I've ever made, and simply one of the best. Dense, moist, and a lot of banana flavor--just the way I love my banana bread. I was surprised there were so few ingredients and such a straightforward, quick preparation, so I had to try it. Definitely good reason to keep this recipe handy--there will always be bananas that need to be used, and always be days we don't want to spend much time putting together a wonderful, comforting bread. Thanks!

This is an excellent, easy recipe with few ingredients. I used 4 very ripe bananas, and the cooking time was perfect. Excellent flavour, moist, and dense. I added a handful of chocolate chips, and a handful of chopped pecans. Just what i was looking for!

Okay, lets upgrade that rating to 5* :o) freezes well (divided into 8 portions) and makes a good breakfast or elevenses. Chocolate chips do sound like a good addition!

I keep using this recipe time and time again when I'm left over with over-ripe bananas; I add nuts, chocolate pieces, sultanas, or whatever else takes my fancy for extra taste. Quick, easy and delicious! and always successful!

Good banana bread! This came out a little dense for me, but it may have been something I had done. It was extremely easy to make and I will be using this recipe again.
