Thanks for a great recipe Maine-iac! I cooked 2 pounds of spinach and next time will make it 3! (this was for 4 people). Will cook this again!

The success of this dish rests solely on the quality of the balsamic vinegar.

Art....this was great guy
I adore spinach but normally I prefer it chilled or a spinach salad. Also, as a rule, I do not like balsamic vinegar (I'm a garlic wine vinegar nut myself) but this was excellent. I used the oregano, very good side dish, thank you for posting it!

This was good, but I found the onion and garlic, especially the onion, overwhelmed everything else. I also wasn't sure whether the basil should be fresh or dried. I used fresh, and sprinkled on some dried oregano for good measure. Neither was very noticeable, so I suspect it should have been dried.

OK, no miracles here - my non-spinach-eaters wouldn't eat this either. But I thought it turned out well and I enjoyed it. I used a 10 oz bag of cleaned spinach and the basil. It wound up a little heavy on the onion, because I think I had a larger onion. Very easy.

I am not fond of cooked spinach but I liked this recipe. Do not over cook the spinach and as mentioned in another review use a good quality Balsamic - it gives just the right finishing flavor. I may eat cooked spinach more often now. Thanks Maine-iac for posting this recipe

I enjoyed this and found it easy to make but it just did not seem to have the "umph" I though it would. I love balsamic vinegar but it just did not seem to work in this recipe for me!! Maybe I overcooked it or something??

Tasty, easy to prepare recipe. I had to leave the garlic out because my husband can't eat that. But, we enjoyed it without it. I'll be making this again, thanks for the recipe!

It really was not to our tastes, very different from the usual stir fried spinach we regularly cook. Thank you for sharing though.
