These were fantastic, I added 1/2 cup of applesauce and 1/2 cup of rolled oats to the recipe. The muffins turned out moist, packed with flavour and what can I say about the chocolate chips.....

Are these really low fat? Unbelievable! They are moist and fluffy and delicious. I did add more chips than the recipe called for, which made them slightly higher in fat, but well worth it. I also used mini chips, which I find work better in muffins. I will be making these again very soon.

These muffins were delicious! VERY MOIST!! I took the other reviewers advice and added the applesauce and oatmeal - it was wonderful! I also increased the chocolate chips to 1/2 cup - I'm a chocoholic! I will definately make these again. I also found that it only took 25 minutes to cook in my oven. Thanks for posting

Delicious! Just made these and they were wonderful warm and after they had cooled as well. To lower the sugar content and increase the fiber I used 1/2 c of splenda and 1/4c of brown sugar. I also replaced the flour with 100% whole wheat pastry flour and added 1/2 c applesauce. The muffin was moist, flavorful and satisfying even with so few chocolate chips. I know we will be making this often!! Thanks!

These have become a staple at my house. I added 1/3 cup of applesauce and 1/3 cup of rolled oats. I also added more cocolate chips because the amount 2 Tbsp shouldn't even be used in the same sentence as chocolate chips. LOL! I did find the mini chips go farther and give you a better chance of chocolate in every bite. I bake these and freeze them to take to work for breakfast. They taste just like when I just made them. The best part is I don't have to feel too guilty about eating them. Thanks!

Great recipe! I doubled the batch - had 5 good sized bananas that ripened too quickly. Used skim milk and didn't use the walnuts. Don't forget to spray the muffin liners! I questioned this, as I've never done it before, but the muffins still had sticking issues even after spraying. Very moist, almost wet. Yummy, and hard to believe they're low fat!! Thanks for the easy and delicious recipe!

This is great! I reduced sugar from 1 cup to 1/2 a cup and added 1/3 cup of both chocolate chips and almonds. So very good... wish I put more chocolate in there. =] Exterior came out crisp and interior moist and gooey and oh so soft. Definitely melt in your mouth yumminess...

Nummy !!! This is the first time Iv'e made a banana chocolate chip muffin. This is a good recipe. I added more chocolate chips and walnuts than what was called for. What a scrumptious muffin. This is going to go into my keepers file. I wish I could give this 10 stars.

Incredibly good! A very rich and moist texture, you'd never say they are fat-free! I used brown sugar only and still it was sweet enough. Thanks a lot for sharing!
