Delicious! I used Sharp Cheddar and a cheese blend of Asiago, Mozzarella, and Roasted Garlic. Very easy to toss together. I ate it as a main dish, but I could easily see making this as a side on weeknights. Thanks for sharing. Nick's Mom

Very creamy! I did not precook my onions as another suggested and I agree the onions were a bit too raw. I will be making this again but I will sautee the onions before adding them to the dish.

Creamy and cheesey! I how quick this was to make; no seperate cheese sauce to make. I did finely chop my Vidalia onions, but they were still a bit too "raw" after baking. I think I will sautee them until soft next time I make this. Thanx for sharing your Mom's mac & cheese recipe!

Left out the onions (personal taste pref), and added more cheese (who can go wrong with more cheese?!) and this was very good!! Even good warmed up Nice and easy to put together!

I made this dish for a group of hungry college students and they loved it! It was really creamy and did not taste like processed cheese at all. LOVED IT!

I had the pleasure of tasting this dish made by the chef herself. My picky family and I LOVED IT! My boys thought they would only eat M&C from a box, but this recipe was the BEST homemade or any restaurant style M&C we ever tasted. Nice creamy and not too cheesy. Perfect! I will definitely make this for my family. Easy to make and super tasty!!! I sauteed the onions first as suggested by others, which gave a lovely sweet hue to the dish.

What a great macaroni and cheese!!! So creamy and full of cheese flavors. DH and I agree this is a keeper at our house, and we plan to have it again many times!
