Great recipe. The pumpkin is not noticeable but it was nice to know the vitamins were there. If you like cumin you'll like this. I used ground turkey and browned it before putting it into the crockpot and it was yummy! It was better the next day and the day after that. My 4 year old did not like it to much but my 1 year old gobbled it up.

This is great! Made this in a crockpot for Halloween. My kids & their friends had it for dinner before going out trick-or-treating! I used only one can of the beans (they don't like beans and they didn't notice them..) and used a 28 oz can of tomato with only 2 cups of chicken broth. Next time I think I will do the other can of beans too! Everyone loved that the secret ingredient was pumpkin!

Easy to make! You cannot really taste the pumpkin but it adds a nice creamy texture to the Chili. The turkey is not necessary! I made it without and it was still a hearty, delicious soup!

An overall great recipe. Of course, there was some improvising involved-you know, green pepper for yellow, beef for turkey. As the others mentioned, you couldn't taste the pumpkin. In the end, I found that the chili was pretty bland. Not to worry, some hot sauce and cheddar cheese cleared that right up.
