Yummiest barbequed chicken I've ever had from a crock pot. Only comment I have is it is better cooked on low or medium for 6-8 hours. When I cooked it on high for 3 and a half hours, it was a little dry.

This was really good. I used four breasts and doubled the sauce, however I don't think it was necessary to double the sauce, we ended up with too much. We ate it over corn bread, it was great. My husband thought it was a bit too ketchupy, but he still enjoyed it and ate leftovers for lunch the next day. Thanks!

This is a great way to barbecue on a rainy autumn day. I used 2 boneless chicken breasts which were frozen and reduced the ketchup to a little over 1 cup. I think that the full 1 1/2 cups would have made to much sauce for our taste. This was served with corn on the cob and fresh made coleslaw for a wonderful meal.

My husband really liked this. The sauce has a nice tang. I doubled the sauce and used 7 breasts. There was enough sauce for annother breast or two. I will make this again!

Just made this tonight. Delicious! I doubled the recipe (except for the red pepper). Did not cook on high. Cooked on low for 6 hours and chicken was tender and delicious.

We really, really enjoyed this! And it surprised me that we enjoyed it so much as it is so unusual for us. We never think to pull chicken apart like this but it works so well. The chicken gets to soak up all the yummy sauce. I tasted the sauce just before it was ready and for us it was quite tomato soupy so I added 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke. Wow, yum, that just made it awesome. Served in a mix of buttered bread rolls. Excellent, warming Sunday night dinner. Just an extra little note - 2 chicken breasts were ample for our family so this works out as an excellent money saving recipe.

It was DH night to cook...so I asked him to make this. Wow! We only had chicken leg/thighs so used those instead. The chicken is fall off the bone tender. He served it in pieces over rice. We will be making this again. Thanks Sharon for sharing! Keep smiling!!

I fixed this for my husband's work while they remodel. They work overnight so this is a great recipe to fix. I fixed KFC Coleslaw and potato salad. They loved it! I didn't get to taste it. I will be fixing it again to taste it. I also doubled the sauce cause I made it with 7 breast.

Excellent. I had tried another recipe on a previous occasion and by far this is the best yet. I don't think I'll be trying any more as this was just what I wanted!
