WOW WOW WOW!!!! This is the BEST lasagna I have ever had. I cooked 1/2 pound hamburger with a few chopped onions and added that to the sauce. It has a whole lot of flavor, is very moist and cheesy. It was so easy to put together. Even without precooking the noodles, they are as done as if you had cooked them! This one has the perfect taste, We will make it a lot!! THANK YOU!!

What an outstanding lasagna, and so simple to make!! I made a couple of these for a funeral and one comment I received was from an Italian lady who said it was almost as good as her mother's... I took that as a great compliment indeed. I, too, added some meat and onions, and next time would also go for a spaghetti sauce with a little garlic and maybe some kick to it. This was enjoyed by all. Thanks for this wonderful recipe!! Dianne

This is great. Just goes to show you don't need an elaborate recipe to make good food (and nobody can tell the difference anyway)! For the record, I only baked it for about 40-45 minutes, and it was a bit darker than I would have liked. I will probably cover it next time, or take it out earlier. I half-cooked the noodles beforehand and added a layer of fresh mushrooms under each layer of sauce, which cooked perfectly and added substance. I used half lowfat cottage cheese and half fat free ricotta, and only 1/2 cup of parmesan. I also only used 2 cups of mozzarella. I'm sure it would be great with more too, but it was enough for me. One 10-oz. jar of sauce was a good amount too. I baked it all in a casserole dish, a little larger than those glass 9x13's and it all turned out great. Thanks for a recipe I will use many more times in the future!

I used the no bake lasagna noodles so it was even easier! Nice to know you can throw a lasagna together in less than an hour!! I didn't change anything, it made a basic "no frills" lasagna. Just cheese, sauce, and noodles- Excellent! The leftovers were to die for - no grease from the meat-because there was no meat! The next time I may add the fresh basil as Vicki suggested. I can see changing the Ragu flavor to change it up a little each time. I'm all over this one Mizz Nezz, really appreciate it! I don't really think there's a way to mess it up, unless you burn it! Great idea for a dinner party - everybody loves lasagna! Served with a light salad and garlic parmesan breadsticks - a real man (or kid) pleaser!

Like some other reviewers we didn't expect much from this recipe except an easy meal. We were pleasantly surprised; it was great! Nice and simple. We didn't miss having meat(sauce) at all. I did pour on 1/4-1/2 cup milk while assembling because I used no boil noodles and was worried they wouldn't cook. Thanks for sharing!

I can't believe how tasty this simple little recipe is! Although I hadn't tried it, I made three and threw them in the freezer. Last night I defrosted one and served it with mushroom & barley soup and a tossed salad. It was really excellent. I used a canned tomato sauce that I doctored with fresh garlic and basil and oven ready noodles. Thanks Inez, I will definately be making this again.

My husband and I make this recipe at least once a month. It's truly easy and SO GOOD! I usually cook up some ground Italian Sausage and throw it in the tomato sauce. We look forward to lasagna night because that means we get to eat the leftovers for lunch all week long. YUM!

I don't like lasagna but I made this dish for my husband and he really liked it. I have never made any other kind of lasagna before, but I know that my mom's recipe takes all day to make. I'm glad to have a good lasagna recipe that I can make on a weekday. Thanks for sharing!

I love lasagna but my usual recipe takes me all day and the kitchen looks like a bomb went off when I am done. I was looking for something easier that I could make for a family dinner and not be exhausted afterwards. This turned out so well and my family loved it. I knew it was risky making a lasagna without meat because we like ours very meaty but honestly, it was excellent without any meat. This was very well seasoned, cheesy, and best of all--very easy. Thanks, Inez.
