From: Carol G.

this recipe was featured on the Paula Dean show on 3/13/07. I use seasoned rice vinegar & 1/2 C. slivered almonds when I make it. Always very, very good!!!

Yummy!! I made this after watching Paula Dean make it on the food network. It is a big hit with my family. I usually substitute cabbage coleslaw (my preference). I am startng to get requests for this recipe already. A definite keeper. Cathy

I also made this using the receipe from the Food Network website/Paula Deen. I eat a vegan diet, so I use Top Ramen Noodles, Oriental Flavor. YUM! Top is the only brand of Ramen noodles that I know of that doesn't have beef extract and is vegan.

Excellent recipe!!! Cider vinegar makes a huge difference as well as browning the noodles and nuts! I also added the sunflower seeds to the pan!! Yummy!
