This was surprisingly good!! We don't have cajun seasoning at home so I made it myself with celery, garlic, cayenne, black pepper, white pepper, salt, some nutmeg..etc.... Because we were grilling it, I added melted butter to the cajun/maple mix and poured that on the fish before grilling. I didn't marinate it at all, and it was delicious. THANK YOU! Never thought those flavors would go together, and ON FISH?!

Very easy & good. I sauteed 2 cloves of garlic & some green onions in butter before adding the fish. I also sprinkled lemon juice on the fish before cooking to get rid of any fishy taste. I will definitely make again. Thank you for posting!

I really enjoyed this. I loved the sweet and spicy together, but it wasn't overwhelmingly one way or the other. I marinated the fish in the sauce for two hours and then broiled the fish. The extra marinade I brought to a boil in a sauce pan spooned it over the fish. Quick, easy, and delicious.

I made this for dinner last night . Just perfect for the 2 of us. The flavors blended together perfectly. I had ran out of garlic powder so I used minced garlic and it was fine. I did make this in a pan on the stove but I think it would be great grilled

Excellent. I used Paul Prudhomme's blackened magic and the heat and sweet went perfectly together. Definitely a keeper.

We made this last night and loved it! It marinated for about 3-4 hours, and it was FULL of flavor -almost too much really. It doesn't need long. I squeezed some lemon on it before pan searing it and made a simple pan sauce with chicken broth, some lemon zest, and a little honey. Hubby said it needs to become part of the regular dinner rotation. Thanks!

A quick, nice dish! I love the syrup with the cajun seasoning. Great for company too! I doubled the recipe. Thanks, Krystal-Belle.

When I first read it, I thought, Cajun and maple? Strange combo.
But when I tasted it, it was like heaven in my mouth.
Good fish dish, I recommend it to anyone who likes fish

I made this last night for dinner and it was so easy!! I put a little too much cajun seasoning but that was easily remedied by adding more maple syrup. I don't own a grill, so I baked the fish. So good..definitely making again. Baked at 350 for 20 minutes
