19 Reviews of Low-Fat Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

From: PetalPower

On Feb 11, 2007

These are the easiest cookies I have ever made and they were absolutely DELISH!!! The dough was quite dry and I had to add about 2 tbs of milk. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. Def. worth a try if you are looking for an easy and tasty cookie!

Yummy! But they are extremely addicting! I think I ate 10 of them! That aside, the only thing I changed was to use 2 T. butter, 2 T. tub margarine, 4 T. cocoa powder and I dipped each cookie in powdered sugar before baking. They came out so pretty! Thanks for this yummy recipe (even though it's not technically good for dieters. I'm going to have to add some major cardio tonight.)

I used whole wheat pastry flour too, Earth Balance "Buttery Sticks," Ghiardelli cocoa powder, plus I added walnuts which resulted in some very tasty cookies! Thanks.

I made a double batch of these and had to add another egg white. The mixture was very crumbly and hard to stick together. Another egg did the trick. These are for the lake in August so I will add to my review then.

I just had to review these again. I made these a 2nd time today and they were so good. I ended up using 6 tbsp cocoa instead of 3. Made them so chocolatey. Also used low fat spread to reduce the fat content a bit.

These cookies were super fabulous! They were so chocolatey but not to many calories or fat. Thanks for sharing. I will continue to make these.

awesome cookies, totally took care of my chocolate craving, and they're not too high in fat and calories... they're so good that i think i could eat cut back the margarine a bit next time, to lower the fat even more. thanks for the recipe

Delicious! I couldn't keep my hands off them, and I have relatively good self control! I added a TB cocoa powder and then doubled the recipe. WILL make again, though my hips will hate me for it! Thanks so much!
