I thought these were yummy, they were gone in an instant.Very easy to make. I had no problem w/ the sugar mix falling off or w/ them being dry. The only changes I made were to add half the amount of oats, 1/2 ts of cream of tarter & a pinch of salt. I know I'll be making them a lot.

Yummy...just finished eating one. I used splenda instead of sugar in the topping as well as the muffin and applesauce instead of margarine and they were great. Thanks for the great recipe.

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. I used 1 cup white flour and 1/2 cup wheat flour, added a little cinnamon to the dry ingredients, and used a snack size container of applesauce instead of butter. I also used hazelnut milk, but that was b/c we didn't have any regular milk. They came out very moist and delicious. Not all of the topping stuck, but most of it did. I made them in regular muffin tins and it made 12. My husband said to add it to the favorites list!

This is such a yummy recipe!! I followed the adjustments that jtsmom posted and only added 1/2 cup oats. I like white wheat flour and only had whole milk so I used that as well. This makes 12 regular sized muffins. I will make these again, FOR SURE!! Thank you for the recipe.

AMAZING! I was searching through Recipezaar for some type of muffin recipe for my husband. I came across this, and thought it sounded great. Well, I just made them, and they turned out to be really yummy. [Only one change: I used regular sized muffin tins, not miniature]

I made these muffins this afternoon for a snack, and they were good. The oatmeal gave them an odd chewiness. They would be great for breakfast. I think next time I'll add diced apples.

These were much appreciated by a hungry junior high Sunday school class - they were first choice over the chocolate chip muffins. They were flavorful without being too sweet. I thought I would have some of the topping left over, but I used it all! I liked the oatmeal texture, though I might use just 3/4 cup next time and increase the flour a bit to compensate. Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe! Quick and easy to make, tasty and nutritious. I used Egg Beaters and half and half whole wheat pastry flour and all purpose flour and it worked fine. Next time I will try applesauce instead of butter since I didn't find the flavor especially buttery. Mine were just a touch dry but I expect it's because I baked them a minute or two too long. Next time I will add some more vanilla and some cinnamon into the batter, but this is a very good recipe as it stands. No way it could make 24 muffins, though. I barely had enough batter for 12 standard size (smallish, even) muffins. Would be great as mini-muffins though. Thanks!

Very good! My husband loves snickerdoodles, so I knew I had to give these a try...well, they got positive reviews all around, and I will be adding these to my cookbook of favorites to make again!
