First of all I want to say thank you for sharing this recipe. This is a good one and very forgiving when adapted. I used chicken tenders instead of legs and chopped garlic because that is what I had on hand. I also did not measure the spices just sprinkled them over the top of the pieces. Considering the italian seasonings I think next time I will dip the chicken in a good olive oil before seasoning and may even include some chunks of sweet italian sausage along side the chicken in the crockpot. Thanks again.

This recipe is the bomb. One day a month or so ago I was trying to find a recipe that was different then what I usually make and I happened upon this one. It was delish. I have made it 3 times since then.. The only thing I do different is I dunk the chicken in olive oil and then place the chicken in the crock pot on the garlic and then sprinkle the spices over the chicken...

This recipe is awesome, and so easy. I didn't have any chicken broth, but I used water instead and it came perfect. Happy Crock Potting!

This was good. It was the first thing I've ever made in a crock pot. (I was quite impatient waiting for it to finish cooking!) I found that I had to double the spices because I only got 3 of the legs coated in the amount of spices that the recipe calls for. Also, I added a bit more broth, probably 1/2 to 3/4 cup, and while it cooked I added some water, maybe 1/4 cup. (I was nervous about it drying out.) It didn't dry out, or turn out runny! I guess I pretty much doubled everything except the chicken and the garlic cloves. It was very flavorful and I'd make it again! I ate it over plain rice. I especially liked it the next day!

Thank you for sharing! Awesome, 5+++ stars! I made this with 5 chicken legs & about 8 cloves of garlic (skins removed-from garlic) & added a bit more chicken broth I kept everything else the same! This dish is delicious & so easy. I like easy dinners (I have a 3 year old & a 3 month old) Cooked on high for 6 hours & it was almost done. Turned to low for 1 hour. I like it with the dark meat because it did not dry out at all! Very delicious with a hint of spiciness

My husband liked this but I didn't, my legs were overdone and falling off the bone. They were tender, which was great, but they were not very appetizing and in a pool of fat and broth. If I made this again I'd take the skin off the legs before cooking and cut the cooking time way down. Partly it may be because I have a relatively strong slow cooker.

We love this recipe. I just mix the spices and oil together and pour it on the chicken, and it comes out great. I've made this using boneless chicken thighs, and a combo of garlic scrapes and dried roasted garlic. It was a really easy meal, and delicious. Thanks!
