This is a nice vegetarian dinner. The directions are right on target and I used 1 large jalapeno pepper which added just the right amount of heat. This was served over Indian Spiced Rice which completed the dish nicely.

We are on a very strict diet and have to have a portion of beans EVERY DAY! This recipe is so different from the "run of the mill bean recipes" and we are thrilled with it! We have served it with friends and have gotten rave reviews as well!

I didn't have chard or chili peppers so I used spinach and chili powder. Was still great and I look forward to being able to make this properly some day!
