I enjoyed this recipeand plan to make it again with my own Gala apples and my own cherries preserves later in the year. It was easy to make with quality ingredients. Good flavor all around, and could be served with a variety of foods. I think it would also be good on pancakes!

This was quick and easy to prepare. I was a little shy on cherry preserves and had to supplement with a little seedless red raspberry fruit spread. The results were quite good. Though mine was prepared for dessert, I could see this working will with latkes or roast chiccken. Thanks.

This was very tasty and easy (once prep on the apples was done!) I used 3 Golden Delicious and 2 Gala, though I might use more Gala next time as they were a bit sweeter and more flavorful. I had to cook the sauce for 25 minutes for the apples to be soft enough to mash but that was no big deal. Also, I much preferred the taste after chilling than when it was first made. This was my first time making applesauce and it was definitely a success! Thanks Sharon!

I doubled the recipe and so happy that I did! Very easy to make, the flavor is wonderful and my kitchen smelled so good. I used 10 nice sized Jonathon apples and left the mixture a bit chunky. Sprinkled some ground ginger on top while still warm and enjoyed! This applesauce would be great served with meat or as a sidedish.

Automatic 5 star DD (3) loved this. Also DH must've said 3 to 4 times, this is really good applesauce. Very easy and tasty. Love the flavor the ginger gives it. Definatly will be a remake. Served as a side with chicken pot pie.

I used 6 gala apples. I cooked it in the microwave. And then added cherry-raspberry-strawberry preserve with less sugar. It's very good. Thanks Sharon. Made for Zaar Star Game.

Doubled the recipe for company tonight. It's too bad I didn't make more. We all loved it, and wanted more. NO leftovers at all.I also did not adjust this. Definately plan on making again. Thank you for a great recipe. Made for Zaar Stars.
