Terri, this is wonderful! I subsituted left-over chicken I had baked the night before and cut it into bite-sized pieces and very thin. I sprinkled it with some of the poultry seasoning and used canned chicken broth. The rest of the recipe I made the way the recipe called for. It is so good! If I served it with cranberry sauce I would feel like we are celebrating Thanksgiving all over again! This one is going into my permanent recipe collection! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice. I made it with boneless/skinless chicken breasts and cut chicken cooking time. Didn't have cheddar cheese on hand, substituted swiss cheese. Will make this again.

I made this last night for dinner and it was a big hit with all of us.I too, used boneless, skinless chicken breasts because I had some in the freezer, and also added some chicken base to the water, along with the poultry seasoning. The only other thing I did was to take a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, dilute it with some milk and sour cream, and used it as a sauce to moisten the helpings. It's very tasty and very easy. Kudos to you!

really yummy and super easy. I also used boneless/skinless breasts, cooked them in the poultry seasoning as dictated by the recipe but for less time and I threw in a chicken bullion cube to flavor the broth to resemble as if it were bone in breasts. other than that, followed the recipe to the letter and everyone in my family loved it, including my husband and 2 small kids. will be making this again and in the meantime looking forward to leftovers for lunch!

Very good, but a bit high in sodium due to the packaged stuffing mix. Very very good with chicken gravy poured over top. Three year old loved it.

I didn't have as much luck with this recipe as the other reviewers. I followed the recipe exactly: I used bone in breasts, cut the recipe in half though used 1 1/2 cups chicken broth. It was a bit bland and for some reason also dry, even though I added the extra broth. I made some chicken gravy to pour over top and mix in, which did give this dish a bit more flavor and moistness. I would've thought the soup and seasoned bread stuffing would take care of the flavor without having to add any salt or gravy. I do agree that it makes for a fine potluck dish as well as a one-dish meal for a dinner; I may have been having an "off" day in the kitchen today, because this recipe has gotten rave reviews so far.
