Yummy. Perfect use for summer tomatoes and basil. Used organic cherry tomatoes and basil and mini balls of fresh mozzarella. Added golden balsamic and good EVOO. Delicious!

Excellent! All our favourite ingredients in one salad. I used the best tomatoes on the vine and buffalo mozzarella to give it a superior flavour. Thank you so much for posting!

I made something of this nature last night for a party, I used the new onion vinaigrette and it was awesome! It's a keeper for a cool quick refreshing salad.

I have always loved this wonderful combination of ingredients. When you pair mozzarella, basil and tomatoes, you've already won! The balsamic is just the right added ingredient to highlight all these flavors! I could eat this wonderful salad all summer long! Thank you, Tom&Candy!

Excellent salad and so flexable! This is one salad that I normally don't measure out the ingredients....it is a little bit of this and a little bit of that, until I am satisfied with color and taste. I sometimes use basil pesto instead of the basil, cutting down on the oil. An alternative way is to chop the the tomato and cheese into bite size pieces, adding garlic, salt pepper, a pinch of sugar and some chopped black olives. It is important that it rests for at least 1 hour so that you get the wonderful juices from the tomatoes. Have some rustic bread to catch all the juices!!! Artichoke hearts could also be added (but that is going to give this salad a whole different name!) This salad is also known as Caprese Salad. You can't go wrong with this one!!!

I made this for my tomato loving hubby. He really enjoyed it. His only suggestion was to cut back on the basil. It was his first time trying the fresh mozzarella and he really enjoyed that a lot. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice and refreshing. I used fresh green and purple basil from my garden. Everyone gave this a 5 stars. Made for ZWT4 Zingo.

Simple delicious tastes of summer here - the balsamic and sea salt really accent the fresh tomatoes and mozz, I used boccochini, and fresh basil from my garden. Made for ZWT4.

Perfect summer salad! Only thing I did differently was to use garlic infused olive oil which I thought kicked it up just a bit. Being avid garlic lovers we try to sneak it into a lot of recipes. Very easy and quick to make! Made for ZWT4.
